In this attached Powerpoint Presentation, have tried to 'explain' the discreet parts of the 1.3 Interact Standard, and follow that with two tools that -alone or in combination- might give you ideas about how to manage the portfolio while minimising workload for teachers. Rachel Penaluna from Wanganui High School created spreadsheets of the relevant verbs from the vocab list for the current NCEA Level 1 external examinations. They allow students to learn the conjugations by roet, hook or crook!
